Dräger Companion med is the digital companion for people who are pursuing their path to abstinence. Dräger Companion med supports them with a combination of app and breathalyzer and can give those affected self-control, security and motivation.
With the mobile Dräger Companion med app, patients can set an individual test schedule for breath alcohol tests together with their therapy contact if they wish.
This also specifically complements collaboration with the responsible therapists or doctors, as they can view test results via a web application and are therefore always informed.
The number of daily tests can be varied in consultation with therapists or doctors. The app and breathalyzer offer therapists a constant connection to their patients and discreet monitoring.
Emergency contacts are stored in the app. In the event of a positive test result or low confidence in abstinence, it is suggested that you call a contact with one click.
As a supplement to standard therapy, the Dräger Companion med app helps to improve relapse prevention through relapse management.
Dräger x BAYOOCARE: Our cooperation
The team at BAYOOMED, our YOOme partner, developed a cross-platform app for Dräger Companion med using Xamarin Forms. This establishes the connection to external hardware (BLE), the Dräger Companion 4me breathalyzer.
In addition, the BAYOOCARE team supports Dräger in the verification and testing of the app as well as in the areas of risk management and cybersecurity.
